Waste Processing & Recycling Facilities
Waste Paper & Cardboard
We have two Paal baling machine’s situated in the main building.
The larger of the machines is a Konti 275 F, which has 80 tonnes of pressure per square inch.
This is mainly used for baling cardboard and newsprint.
The smaller bailer, a PGS 60/40, which has 60 tonnes of pressure per square inch, mainly bales higher grades of paper including best white, printers waste, tissue and polythene.
Both machines are fed by infloor conveyor belts.
Processing & Picking Stations
We have two processing and picking stations.
The first station uses an overband magnet, which is used for processing council contracts (kerbside recyclables).
The second picking line goes through a trommel first, which removes any glass.
Scrap Metal, Plastic Bottles & Rigid Plastic Baling
We have a Twin Ram Harris baler with a conveyor on site.
This makes light work of baling these materials and gives a good bale weight for onward shipping.
